What we store
After you confirm that you are at least 18, NightReveal writes nr_age_ok=1 to your browser's local storage. This prevents the same prompt from appearing on every wiki page.
- Purpose: remember your adult self-declaration.
- Location: your browser only.
- Expiry: when you clear NightReveal's site data or browser storage.
- Tracking: none; it is not used to identify you or follow you across websites.
Session cookies
When you sign in, NightReveal sets a small number of strictly necessary cookies so we can keep you logged in. They are set only while you are signed in and are removed when you log out.
nr_atandnr_rt— your sign-in tokens. They are HttpOnly (never readable by page scripts) and sent only over HTTPS.nr_atis short-lived (about 15 minutes);nr_rtlets us renew your session for up to 30 days.nr_auth— a simple flag that tells the page you are signed in, so it can show your account and skip the age prompt. It holds no token and no personal data.
NightReveal does not set analytics, advertising, or personalisation cookies.
Your control
You can remove the adult-confirmation value through your browser's site-data settings. The age prompt will appear again the next time you visit the wiki.
Contact privacy@nightreveal.com if you have a question about browser storage.
