Fellatio

Fellatio is oral sex performed on a penis — using the mouth, lips, and tongue to stimulate it for pleasure. More commonly called a blowjob, the word comes from the Latin fellatus, 'to suck,' and the act has been depicted for thousands of years across cultures. The giver stimulates the penis to please the receiver, often building toward orgasm, though it's also a common part of foreplay. It ranges from gentle, sensual teasing to enthusiastic, deep, or rough versions. It's one of the most universal sex acts there is.

For the receiver, the warmth, suction, and focused attention are intensely pleasurable, and there's something powerful about being serviced this way; for the giver, there's intimacy, control over the receiver's pleasure, and for many a genuine turn-on in the act itself. Worship and submission themes can heighten it.

The giver uses a mix of licking, sucking, and hand strokes on the shaft and head, varying pressure and rhythm and reading the receiver's responses. It can be slow and teasing, focused toward orgasm, or escalate into deeper or rougher play like deepthroat.

Low-risk. STIs can pass through oral sex, so a condom reduces risk with new partners; mind teeth, and communicate about depth and pace. Whether to finish in the mouth (and swallow) is purely personal preference.
