Fingering (anus)
Anal fingering is stimulating or penetrating the anus with a finger or fingers. It's a versatile, accessible act — used in partnered foreplay, during sex, or solo masturbation — reaching an area packed with nerve endings, plus the prostate in people who have one. It can be a gentle tease at the rim, a shallow massage, or fuller penetration, and often serves as a first step toward larger anal play. Low-gear and low-effort, it needs only a hand and some lube. It's one of the simplest entry points into anal pleasure.
The dense nerve endings around the anus make even light touch intense, and internal stimulation can reach the prostate for a deep, distinct pleasure. It also carries a mild taboo charge, and being fingered can feel both intimate and submissively exposed.
A partner lubes up and starts by massaging the rim, then slowly slides a finger in, adding movement, a second finger, or a 'come-hither' motion toward the prostate as the receiver relaxes. It's easy to combine with oral, a handjob, or intercourse.
Use plenty of lube (the anus doesn't self-lubricate) and go slowly. Keep nails trimmed and smooth, wash hands or wear a glove, and don't move that finger to the vagina without washing (infection risk). Stop at sharp pain, and let the receiver set the pace.
