Imprisonment
Imprisonment is a fixation on being locked away — held in a cage, cell, room, casket, or other isolated space against one's (roleplayed) will. It's usually as much psychological as physical: the captor may prod, tease, taunt, or belittle the prisoner through the bars, blending confinement with helplessness and light torment. It draws on captivity fantasies — the jail cell, the dungeon, the kept 'pet.' It can be a brief scene or an extended, elaborate captivity. It overlaps with cages, bondage, confinement, and consensual non-consent.
The appeal is total loss of freedom and control — being contained, at another's mercy, unable to leave — which for many is a profound, adrenaline-laced surrender. The captor's taunting and the helpless waiting build a charged psychological tension.
One partner is locked in a cage, cell, or small space (or restrained as if imprisoned) while the other plays captor — checking on them, teasing through the bars, setting conditions for 'release.' Scenes run from a short lock-in to long, story-driven captivity.
Ensure real airflow and never seal anyone into an airtight space; watch temperature, keep the person able to signal, and never leave them locked up truly alone or unmonitored. Agree a safeword and time limits, make sure any cage or restraint has a fast release, and give aftercare for the isolation's emotional weight.
