Tentacle fetish
A tentacle fetish is arousal from tentacled creatures — octopus-like monsters, aliens, and beasts — penetrating or entwining a partner, a fantasy made famous by 'tentacle porn' and Japanese hentai. Since no real animal can (or ethically would) be involved, it lives entirely in art, animation, fantasy, and roleplay, often with themes of being overwhelmed, bound, or 'taken' by many limbs at once. Toys shaped like tentacles bring a physical element. It overlaps with monster fetish (teratophilia), consensual non-consent, and fantasy. The many-limbed, alien 'other' is the draw.
The appeal is fantastical overwhelm — being enveloped, bound, and penetrated by countless limbs at once is an extreme, impossible sensation of surrender and helplessness, wrapped in the exotic allure of the alien 'other.' The impossibility keeps it safely in imagination.
It's enjoyed through tentacle art, animation, and stories, and through roleplay or toys — tentacle-shaped dildos, or a partner playing the many-limbed creature — often with monster-abduction or 'taken by force' fantasy themes agreed in advance.
As fantasy, art, and toy play it's low-risk. If it involves CNC-style 'taken' roleplay, negotiate and keep a safeword; use body-safe toys with a flared base. It's fiction, not anything involving real animals.
The genre has deep roots in Japanese art — famously Hokusai's 19th-century woodblock print of a woman and an octopus — and later flourished in hentai partly because tentacles sidestepped censorship of human genitalia. It's pure fantasy: real octopuses are animals and can't consent, so this is monster/creature fiction, not bestiality.
